First Announcement and Call for Paper

For the past few years, remarkable progress has been made in the field of Power Beam processing technologies, e.g. high power beam processing techniques, Free Form Manufacturing, EB texturing, hybrid welding, hybrid surface engineering etc. In order to promote the technical innovation and application in the fields of power beam processing technologies, ICPBPT2010 will be the 3rd one of the series of Int¡¯l Conference, organized by the National Key Laboratory for Power Beam Processing Technologies on Oct.25~29, 2010 in Beijing. The 1st and 2nd International Conference on Power Beam Processing Technologies were held successfully in 2004 (in Province Yunnan) and 2007(in Beijing) to enhance the technical exchanges between domestic and international.
ICPBPT2010 will focus on the current research and new developments in the fields of power beam processing technologies. World-wide distinguished experts will be invited to deliver lectures at the plenary session. Professors from universities and institutes, specialist from industries are welcomed give reports at sessions in different research directions of power beam processing technologies.
Conference Topics
The conference shall cover the fields of processing technologies using laser beam, electron beam, ion beam& plasma and hybrid beam processing technologies as well as related testing, controlling, evaluation, application and equipments, etc.
